Attitude problem can be solved or worst in the Hospitality Industry
In many situation, often you meet a very classic problem about ATTITUDE of your team member within the hospitality industry. Regardless of their background and cultures, this problem are very unacceptable in the hospitality service. Management should be ready at the first stage before the operation begin to run with human resources strategy to handle all the control of the entire operation.
Staff is an assets but if you can't handle this problem clearly then you will get stressed because of your messy operation. You will get so many negative feed back or even worst huge class of complain for your improper trained staff. But in the other hand you can't put all the blame on them because it is also your greatest mistake in the forming a team.
Your management better be prepared with bundle of hospitality training material and hospitality knowledge to shared with the entire team member at the first place before the SHOW begin. This also make your management a great way to hospitality solutions and also build your team member on their individual performance. So in the future their hospitality career and your valuable business can be grow together.
All those training and knowledge certainly need quite expensive time because in it there will be extra budget to support. Your management will get the feed back in the operation from each team member as they have equipped well with related knowledge they need for heir performance.
Solve it really fast and take action on evaluation or you will see your operation become a completely headache and suddenly your business will getting worst than ever because hospitality comes from the people's heart and good attitude. Good service can be given when the person whom doing the service is well trained, happy, positive thinking and get the total feel of team and management are working together as a whole family. You won't find it often service from heart but every single guest want this kind of service very bad.
Make it fun and full of happiness when you make a training session but in the same vision and mission. Make sure each team member understand what is the goal all over from the A to Z. Make sure you shared clearly the direction you want to go, do it regularly and evaluate. Suddenly you will amazed with what they can do for you. They will run together with you and you will also find one or two among them doesn't following. Never focus on them and you will see very clear 2 option left whether they will leave the team or they will influenced to your way.

Any catering career suggestions?
I am about to start a level 3 hospitality and catering course at college which focuses on hotel management and head chefs etc... But i'm stuck on what career to do! I did consider being a catering officer in the RAF because my dad was in the RAF but i'm unsure on whether my heart is truly into it. I still have 2 years left to make a decision. Please help!!
You could try things like sous chef, head chef, prepare person, or you could open up your own business and cater people's parties.
