In a bowl, sift dry ingredients and cut in shortening. Make a stiff dough by just adding enough buttermilk. On a floured surface knead lightly and roll the dough into a rectangle. Spread the rectangle dough with butter and sprinkle with the sugar and cinnamon mixture. Now roll the dough up into jelly roll like fashion and cut into 12 slices. Place slices in a buttered and sugar sprinkled 8 x 8 inch pan. Bake at 475° for 15 to 20 minutes, until brown. Serve.

Ingredients

Filling

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ cup melted margarine

Dough

  • ¼ cup shortening
  • 2 tablespoon margarine
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2/3 to 3/4 cup milk

Method of Preparation

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix the filling ingredients, sugar and cinnamon and keep aside. Stir flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder together. Cut in shortening and margarine till you reach a consistency similar to cornmeal. Add milk as required to attain a smooth, but not sticky, dough. Knead on a floured surface three times. Roll the dough into a rectangle that is about ½ inch thick. Spread melted butter on the dough and sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mix. Now roll the dough up into jelly roll like fashion and cut into ¾ inch slices. Place slices in a buttered and sugar sprinkled 8 x 8 inch pan. Bake for 12 - 15 minutes. Serve.

No Yeast Homemade Cinnamon Rolls Recipe from Scratch ~ Recipe # 3

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tube of crescent rolls
  • 2 large apples, peeled, cored and cut into 8 wedges each
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • ¼ cup water

Method of Preparation

Combine cinnamon and sugar and set aside. Unroll crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Cut each triangle in half lengthwise and make 16 triangular strips. Roll up each strip after placing an apple wedge on the wide end of each strip. Place the rolls in a 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Drizzle the rolls with melted butter and sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture. Pour water into pan, but NOT over the rolls. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes in a preheated oven to 400° till the rolls are golden brown and apple wedges are tender. Serve.

Using baby bundt pans to make monkey bread. Need help with measurements?

This is the recipe I'm using for monkey bread.
I don't understand the measurements.
It's says 15 servings = 1 10inch tube pan

I'm trying to make approx. 5 batches of monkey bread with the mini bundt pans, which would be 60 monkey bread things.
Does anyone know about how many cans of biscuit dough I would need for that?

3 tubes of biscuits for one regular pan of bread so if you are making 5 its 3 x 5 = 15 cans
then just separate them into the mini pans and add the other ingredients

60 servings??? or 60 mini pans full????
